"Crazy Cupid Recap"
On Thursday, February 14 .....Valentines Day....the Talent Show Committee Heads finally found out who their mysterious, unknown crazy cupids were. It was a night full of laughter, hugs, smiles, and best of all....FUN!!! =) Based on comments made in RoundTable, this whole Crazy Cupid "game" relieved a lot of people due to the mass amounts of stress created by midterms, papers, and lack of sleep and sorta got their minds off of school, during these past crappy studying weeks.
Basically, Crazy Cupid was somewhat of a "Secret Santa" gift exchange, but during Valentines Day week. Everyone was told to send us their information of what they would want as a great Valentines Day gift. We asked them for their favorite color, favorite candy, favorite flower, and five things they wanted or needed. After everyone submitted their info, we assigned each "crazy cupid" a certain person and sent them their person's information, so they could go out to buy their person their gifts. So as Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday came along, the APSA office was happily bombarded with an abundance of different colored flowers, wrapped presents, candy bars, and short notes written on Wendy's Yellow napkins, all laying along the desks. People were able to pick up their gifts there, still in question over who their "crazy cupid" might be! Notes were written in girl writing, people sent other people to place their gifts in the offices when their certain person was hanging out in the office, and other ways were made to throw their person's off. But then Thursday arrived. Finally, the day of revealing. The room suddenly was filled with screams, laughs, hugs and "Oh my gosh, it was you all along!" 's. All in all, everyone was really happy and enjoyed their gifts, and it turned out to be a fun, A-okay night!!! =P
Just a friendly reminder, just in case you did not get a chance to attend the meeting, we are currently taking nominations for best crazy cupid up until this Monday, February18. So if you think your crazy cupid gave the way coolest gift ever or went all out on all 4 days of gift giving.....let us AND crazy cupid know! Make sure you go to hotmail.com and log in as user: xcrazycupidx, password: iluvapsa, and send your email to everyone on the Talent Show address book, so everyone can read your sweet, kind words about your sillycrazycupid. At the end, we'll read all the nominations and whoever makes it to the "Best Crazy Cupid" list will win points for their team.
*FINAL NOTE*: The next game we are going to play is the infamous, notorious game of (drumroll please!)
Aye-Ess-Ess-Aye-Ess-Eye-Enn-Ess!!! What does that spell?!? ASSASINS!!! *dun dun dun*
YES! The game of "killing" people with sticky nametags and camping out on stairways is BACK!! So we'll keep you posted on that one. Keep checking up on the website for more info on the rules, safeties, etc. ***Remember....ASSASINS is open to ALL people, anybody can play! The more people playing, the better!
